Welcome and thank you for stopping by my page. Seeking support when you’re feeling overwhelmed, trapped, or just ready for change is a brave first step! My work involves supporting individuals to overcome obstacles in life and promote positive growth. Whether you’re struggling with relationship issues or interpersonal conflicts, anxiety, depression, or simply life transitions, I am here to help you find meaning, healing, and hope again.
I want to establish a sincere and friendly therapeutic relationship with you during our work together, one in which you feel seen, heard, and understood. My approach is tailored to your particular goals and objectives. I work with individuals from all walks of life to help them improve their relationships and gain a positive self-perception. Although navigating change can be challenging, it also presents a significant chance for healing, and I firmly believe that everyone is capable of development and transformation. My approach, which combines evidence-based techniques with mindfulness and introspection, is grounded in cultural and relational knowledge. I support an integrative, holistic approach to well-being that goes beyond conventional therapy and includes things like physical activity, healthy eating, adequate sleep, and fun hobbies. I believe that all facets of an individual’s life must be addressed for true therapeutic change, and I’m here to assist you in creating a plan that promotes your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Being an immigrant has greatly shaped my viewpoint. My experiences have made it easier for me to relate to and comprehend the effects of cultural and familial obligations on clients from a variety of backgrounds. As a therapist, my mission is to acknowledge the individual narrative of every client and to humanize mental health services. You are valuable because of your experiences and identity, and telling your story will help you on the path to recovery.
Now a little about me – I am an advanced practicum student at Soul Work Counseling. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and I am presently a PsyD doctorate student at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Additionally, I have an AMI diploma from the Minnesota Montessori Training Center. When I’m not working, I like to travel, explore museums, take care of my growing collection of houseplants, immerse myself in a good book, experiment with different recipes, and spend time with friends and family. In addition to my psychotherapy work at Soul Work Counseling, I will also be conducting pre-bariatric surgery psychological evaluations, ADHD rule-out psychological evaluations, and general psychological evaluations.
