MA, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Hi. My name is Tyler and I am glad you are here.
We all have experiences that have a way of sticking with us far longer, and with more say over our lives, than we would like. These wounds can feel so fresh, so deep, and so unshakable it can seem hopeless. I’m here to walk alongside you to let you know that you are not alone, that what you are feeling and experiencing is normal for what you’ve been through, and that healing is possible so that you can have hope for better days ahead.
In our therapy space, I’m dedicated to helping you find a refuge where safety means what you need it to mean – whether that’s having space to feel your emotions without apology, taking things at your own pace, or simply being exactly where you are right now. Here, you don’t need to have all the answers or maintain a perfect facade. You’re safe to be wonderfully, authentically human – with all your needs, uncertainties, and complexities. Together, we’ll create a space where you can focus on yourself, where you get to decide what you want and need, and where there’s no pressure to meet anyone else’s expectations. This is your journey, and you get to define what feels right for you.
I specialize in ego state therapy and EMDR. Ego state therapy is a path to healing that transforms inner conflict by helping you understand and learn new ways of relating to all parts of yourself. Through this gentle process, you’ll discover how your internal experience makes sense, and how to help different parts of you work together toward lasting change. EMDR is a powerful therapy that helps release the grip of traumatic experiences by engaging your brain’s natural capacity to heal.
I’ve had the privilege to work as a therapist since 2016, and I genuinely love it. Outside the therapy room, I’m a grateful husband and father to two amazing young kids who are constantly teaching me new lessons about life, connection, and what truly matters in life. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our dogs, who bring their own special joy and chaos to our home. Oh, and two words: Naz Reid.
Wherever you are in your journey, I hope you’ll reach out.
All my best,
Tyler

p.s. For my dissociative peeps: you are not alone or crazy (despite how trauma might make you feel), your experience can be understood (and when properly understood, make perfect sense), and it won’t feel like this forever.
