About ShaShee Yang, BS, Pre-Licensed Doctoral Candidate
ShaShee is a doctoral candidate in the PsyD program at Augsburg University. At Soul Work Counseling, he is working as a psychological testing and assessment practicum student. ShaShee is bilingual and speaks Hmong and English. He is passionate about providing accessible and approachable psychological services to people for whom mental health is heavily stigmatized. ShaShee has experience working with people from diverse and underserved backgrounds, such as Black, Latino, and Southeast Asian individuals and families. He has worked in psychological testing and assessment settings with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. As a second-generation Hmong-American, he aims to apply culturally appropriate techniques to aid individuals in gaining insight into their mental health well-being. He enjoys working with individuals from all different types of backgrounds and life experiences.
